West Coast Shuttle is West Coast owned and operated by West Coast Shuttle 2007 Ltd. The directors are Cedric and Marlene Trounson of Greymouth.
Both have been involved in the tourism industry since the early 1970's. After a short break out of tourism, West Coast Shuttle was set up to meet the transport needs of the ski industry offering transport and ski packages, along with other small charters.
In early 2007 West Coast Shuttle expanded with the purchase of two 22 seat coaches, with reclining seats, air conditioning, heating, DVD then fitted a toilet to ensure an express service was possible between Greymouth and Christchurch offering both comfort and service to the highest possible standard

We offer Ski and Snow Board Transport (See Skiing-Boarding page) during the Ski Season (July-October) including total gear hire and transport packages.



Charters for big or small groups to anywhere, including pick up and drop off for trampers to any number of incredible tracks on the West Coast.

West Coast Shuttle Inventory

Currently we operate four vehicles,
- Two coaches each seating 22 passengers,
- One passenger van seating 8 passengers,
- One 4x4 vehicle seating 4 passengers,
- Two covered trailers which are used for the transport of Baggage, skis, snow boards, Packs, Kayaks, or up to 7 bikes and other equipment.

Terms and conditions.
Adult is any person 14 years old and over
Child is any person under 14 years old
Infant is a baby under 4 years old
YHA member is a duly paid up member of the Youth Hostel Association of New Zealand
BBH member is a duly paid up member of the Budget Backpacker Hostels of new Zealand
Student is a person who full time in tertiary education. Student Identification from the tertiary institution is required to receive Student discount.
Superannuate, Pensioner, Aged, has the same meaning. 'Proof of entitlement' may be requested from West Coast Shuttle when claiming discount.
Unaccompanied Child Is a child over the age of 7 years old and under 14 years old who travels with out a parent or guardian who is over the age of 18 to be responsible for their welfare.

Payment and Refund Policy
Payment Policy
Payment is required prior to travel and can be paid to the driver
Credit card will not be accepted by the driver unless by prior arrangement with the Management of West Coast Shuttle 2007 Ltd

Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be rebooked for another date at no charge
Cancellation more than 24 hours incurr a penalty of 10%
Cancellation less than 24 hours incurrs a penalty of 50%
Cancellation within one hour of departure time penalty of 100%
No-shows also 100% penalty (no refund or transfer of booking)
Any refunds will be credited only to original credit card number
